About

Gerry has over 35 years experience in the garden machinery industry. In 1992 Gerry, together with his wife Maura, established his family business in Killure, Ahascragh, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway.

Training
In 1975 Gerry began his training in motorcycle engineering and then, when it arose, seized the opportunity to take an apprenticeship as a chainsaw mechanic.

Following this Gerry worked with Briggs and Stratton and then for 6 years with Yamaha where he repaired and serviced motorcycles, lawnmowers, and Homelite chainsaws.

From modest beginnings...
Whilst working in a factory by day, Gerry began providing sales and repairs by working independently from home in his own time. Over the next 11 years Gerry exploited his own entrepreneurial skills to develope his business.

Today Gerry Croffey LAWNMOWER and GARDEN MACHINERY occupies a brand new state of the art premises. It is purpose built specifically for the sale and repair of lawnmowers and garden machinery.
